We are looking forward to welcoming you to Calgary for Rendez-vous Canada 2017, Canada’s premier international tourism marketplace!

Please find below some helpful information to prepare you for your arrival at RVC 2017.


RVC 2017 hosts, Tourism Calgary and Travel Alberta, are pleased to provide complimentary airport transfers to / from official RVC hotels.

Shuttles Upon Arrival

Calgary International Airport (YYC) to official RVC hotels:

  • Monday, May 8: 10:00 am – 10:00 pm (every 30 min.)
  • Tuesday, May 9: 10:00 am – 10:00 pm (every 30 min.)

When leaving the baggage claim area, please look for the Rendez-vous Canada banners and the Calgary welcome kiosk. Staff and volunteers will be pleased to direct you to the RVC shuttles.

If you have not already indicated your travel information in your MyRVC account, please do so to ensure a sufficient number of shuttles at your arrival time.

Shuttles will also be available to transfer delegates to / from official hotels and the BMO centre. Click here to view the full shuttle schedule.

RVC Registration

New this year: Advance registration is available for Buyers, TIAC Members, and Sponsors only on Monday, May 8 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the lobbies of the Calgary Marriott and the Westin Calgary. You will receive your badge and a voucher to pick up your delegate bag at the BMO Centre. A table will be set up at the entrance to Hall E before you enter the marketplace floor where you can pick up your bag on Tuesday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and Wednesday from 7:30 am – 12:00 pm.

Registration desk hours on the marketplace floor are:

  • Tuesday, May 9: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday, May 10: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
  • Thursday, May 11: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Friday, May 12: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Destination Canada’s Inside Track

Tuesday, May 9, 1:30-4:00 pm

Average historic temperatures for May: high of 16°C and low of 3°C. Rain in May is not uncommon, so bring an umbrella and/or waterproof jacket.

Dress Code

Rendez-vous Canada’s dress code is business with the following exceptions:

  • Tuesday evening: Business casual
  • Western Wednesday: Wear your best Western gear all day today!
  • Thursday evening: Business casual
  • Friday Closing Reception: Business/business casual – come directly from your last appointment.

The complimentary RVC app is available now!  Download the app now from the App Store or Google Play.
