Enhancing the delegate experience

Whether you are a buyer, seller or media delegate, RVC is the type of event that has an ongoing commitment to enhance the delegate experience and within that spirit, the following features have been added to the 2018 version.

Canada-China Year of Tourism (CCYT)

In the year of the Canada-China Year of Tourism (CCYT), an initiative where the Government of Canada has set the goal of doubling the number of Chinese tourists coming to Canada by 2021, RVC is supporting the Canada-China Inbound Tour Operator Accreditation Program members with a dedicated and distinctive area referred to as the Canada-China Expert Pavilion, featuring over 30 booths, located on the Western Canada Marketplace.

Pursuit Photo Booth

Because a picture is worth a thousand words, RVC is partnering with Pursuit to boost the fun factor with a creative photo booth located on the Convention Level/Western Canada Marketplace. The Pursuit Photo Booth is sure to provide countless opportunities to capture all the mingling and spontaneous laughs with a take-home photo strip and of course mementos that can (and will) forever live online.

Edmonton Tourism Culinary Showcase

When a city’s culinary diversity and appeal continues to gain notoriety with publications and awards, you can bet they will bring their best to RVC, so book yourself a stop by the Edmonton Tourism Culinary Showcase on May 14th and 15th in Room 508 on the Eastern Canada Marketplace level, when Chef Brad Smoliak will be preparing unforgettable dishes using some of Alberta’s seven signature ingredients.

Tourism Kingston – Buyer & Media Retreat

Authentic, artisanal, and always sophisticated — discover what the Kingston experience is all about.

If you are an official RVC buyer or media delegate, drop by the Buyer and Media Retreat in room 501, Eastern Canada Marketplace level, to unwind and have a taste of the true Kingston experience.
